Beautiful Baby Boy!

My dear friends Joannah and Shea welcomed their beautiful baby boy into the world on May 17th, 2009. Baby Matteo Pallante was born at 8 lbs. 15 oz and was 20 inches long. Congratulations jojo and shea shea. Love you guys!

2 week appointment

Zoie had her 2 week appointment on Friday!It seemed like we were waiting forever to go into the room. There were 4 walk-ins of SICK kids that were all in the waiting room with us. Its so funny how people think you should stay inside for 3 months and not step foot outside because of germs. If Zoie gets sick its because of the SICK kids at the pediatricians office not from going outside:(

Anyways she was asleep for an hour while we were waiting..THANK GOD! but of course as soon as they put me in the room she woke up. she was hungry or had a stomach ache...So I started to feed her and THEN she pooped all over me. Yep! a MAJOR blowout that went UP her back and came out the side legs of her diaper. There was YELLOW runny poop all over my black juicy dress and milk coming through my top and NO ONE there to help me. So i stood up and it all started dripping down making more of a mess. Of course i didn't have her diaper bag just a diaper and some wipes. The wipes weren't very helpful. I laid Zoe down on the COLD, paper covered table then turned around and saw paper towels. I couldn't leave her on the table in fear that she would fall off because she was so upset, covered in poop and flailing all over the place. So i picked her up and grabbed some paper towels. I finally got her cleaned up and changed. As if things weren't already bad, I didn't have anywhere to put the MESSY diaper, wipes and paper towels BECAUSE all the trash cans say "do not put diapers in this trash" WTF?! so I grabbed more paper towels and wrapped up the dirty diaper and set it in her carrier. After i got most of the mess off of me i realized wiping a black terry cloth dress with white paper towels wasn't a genius idea either. FINALLY the Dr. walked in. I basically threw Zoie at her and finished cleaning everything up.

SO the latest on baby ZOIE???...The Dr. said she is doing GREAT for her age. she has gained a little over a 1lb and grew 1 inch.

WHEN I LOOK AT HER i CAN'T HELP BUT LAUGH AND FORGIVE HER FOR MAKING ME FEEL SO UNORGANIZED AND LOOK LIKE A ROOKIE.

Mother's Day!

Hope everyone had a wonderful mother's day! Mine was sooooo fun. We spent the day at the beach with great friends and family. Then we watched Kapono play at dukes. It was a wonderful first mother's day!! This is what Zoie did all day under her umbrella. I love this face!!
