Our Very Own Children's Boutique

So a few nights ago I started to pack up all Zoie's gifts from her showers. I was seriously overwhelmed. I mean all my friends and family definitely went above and beyond to make sure Zoie will be the best dressed baby on the island. From handmade tutus, bows, blocks, towels, letters, paci holders, etc to her very own brazilian bikini and loads of "juicy" outfits, pearl necklace and baby bracelet, bugaboo bee and combi strollers, I was thinking she might be more prone to being beat up because she will always look so cute. HAHA Either way Zoie is so lucky to have so many people in her life that love her and can't wait to meet her.

After 4 full suitcases of ONLY things for Zoie, we managed to make it home to Hawaii in one piece. THANK GOD THEY DIDNT WEIGH THE LUGGAGE:) Enjoy the pictures.

Showering Zoie

A group of us have been best friends since high school. Its crazy to think we have known each other for 15+ years. I'm so lucky to have such wonderful long lasting friends like you! The shower once again was great! We had great tea sandwhiches, appetizers made by chef Haley, yummy salads, mimosas, and a tasty cake from my favorite bakery The Great Dane!

Zoie got so many presents and just as I was getting close to the end my friend Cheryl yelled "omg theres a fire...a FIRE!" We looked over and saw a napkin in flames which caught the box full of shreded paper on fire that had haley's handmade letters in it. Everyone started screaming and noone really knew what to do. You would think that being a fireman's daughter i would have reacted quickly but i didn't. The only thing I managed to do was save the letters from the fire and hand the burning box to someone else. There were ashes and smoke everywhere. Thank god it didnt do damage to Sallie's newly remodeled house. I was seriously shaking after that. We had to take a break before finishing the rest of the presents.

Now that we can laugh about the fire I would like to thank all my girls, Joannah, Susan, Elishia, Stacey, Haley,Cathy, and Leila(thank you for making an appearance only days after delivering your baby boy). Also Thank you sallie for letting us use your home and almost burning it down. The flowers were beautiful.

Twins turn 4!!!

My neice and nephew are turning 4! Where has the time gone? My sister decided to have their birthday early because my mom and I would be in town! She had it at the park by our house and there was a great turn out. The funniest part about it was she told people not to bring gifts(because the twins have WAY TOO many toys already) but if they insisted, a book would be great! Well Scarlett did not take it too well. She said "I don't want books I want toys" Ha-ha! kids are so honest! Little Rayson could have cared less. He was having fun being a boy playing on the play ground with all the other kids. Scarlett kept to herself and was poopy all day. When someone would come up she would rudely say "where's my book?" OMG my poor sister. I could have died for her. Anyways it ended up being a really pretty day and a fun get together for the twins.

A shower for Zoie

My good family friends Natalie and Janet threw me a beautiful baby shower. Everything was decorated so cute and the food was amazing. It was really good to see all my friends and family. Here are some pictures from the first baby shower. Zoie is very lucky to have so many people in her life that love her already!! Thank you for all that you do for us Janet and Natalie. Portable Crib Bedding! HELP!

I need all the mom's help. I have bought a portable crib which looks just like a standard crib just half the size. The only MAJOR problem I am having is finding this size bedding. NO ONE CARRIES IT! I have searched online and cannot seem to find anything there. I have seen it at a few places (bergstroms, USA baby, etc) But they usually only have 2 or 3 and they are so boring and plain. I mean what? portable cribs deserve ugly, organic, itchy, and only in solid khaki material. Worst case...I guess I could make it but would love to find something super adorable instead. Does anyone know where they carry portable crib bedding?

3D ULTRASOUND

I have been hesitant about getting a 3D ultrasound because they sometimes look scary. After stressing out about it way too much I decided to go for it. Of course her hands were completely covering her face so they stopped and told me to go drink cold water and try to get her to move. After a half hour we tried again. Although her hands and feet were both covering her face, we managed to get her to move for some decent shots. These are the best ones. Not sure if I will get another 3D but i will definitely get another 2d ultrasound in the next 2 weeks. i just love seeing her.
